It's better than Best Buy's which barely worked. It has issues, but it can handle the basics. It doesn't have all the features of my original. The catalog only shows the current show. You cannot scroll to watch the show later in the day. Manual channel entry is the most annoying. You have to be quick or the remote control will be disabled. For example, if I enter 7.1 but don't get .1 in time, the remote control stops working. I have to manually change the channel on the TV itself to any working channel, then turn off the TV, remove the batteries from the remote and reinsert them to reset, then turn on the TV with the remote and it will likely work. In addition, this remote control is NOT convenient to hold and input information. The buttons I use aren't arranged very conveniently - it's too easy to make a mistake.
