these meters are junk. Don't waste your money. I had one that worked great for a few days and then broke. The tap water test at 8 a.m. went to 5.4. recalibrated and still said 5.4 for tap water. then it completely stopped working without reading. tried new batteries. NO. I thought it was just bad so I bought the exact same one. worked a few times then tap water at 8.79, 8.80 and then 5.9 and bounced all over the place. These are week counters if you are lucky and they are very unreliable. I kept it clean, put the lid on and stored it in the protective sleeve it came in. This counter will kill aquatic plants and aquatic animals for you due to its inaccuracy. If this is your application, please stay away. This company makes good multimeters, but this product is a failure. ZERO STARS I gave 1 because I had to give this review. I usually never leave reviews as I think it's a waste of time, but I felt compelled to pass this along to the community. keep scrolling and find another counter. I went to bluelab and wait for his arrival.
