So let me look at the pros and cons of this beautiful but imperfect thing. PROS: First off, this thing is really awesome. I have the carbon fiber and stainless steel combo and it looks beautiful! One thing for anyone who might not be able to tell from the photos: the carbon fiber is SHINY, not the matte version. This may bother some people (I would have preferred the matte version), but in the end I was able to come to terms with the look. Second, the concept of the money clip used in this model is actually pretty damn good! It's comfortable, quick to put on and looks stylish. I actually enjoy pulling out the money clip to pay with credit cards or cash while gently sliding the clip levers and unlocking my cards. All in all, this is a nice device. CONS: My biggest complaint is the low quality of the product tolerances. One of my main complaints is that items are DIRTY when I shake them. The rattling seems to be coming from the retractable part. It rattles when the clip is closed and rattles when the clip is open. It looks like the gap between the rail and the guide is big enough for the product to rattle! I mean, if I'm paying over $140 for a small luxury item, I at least expect it to be of high quality. Continuing the loose tolerances theme, I have an issue with the slide clip where it slides. in my bag. I don't know if there's a latch or something else to keep the sliding clip in place, but it's definitely not great in my pocket. I don't even roughly move or yank it, but it still manages to slide out at least halfway. Interestingly, at the same time when I take it out of my pocket and try to pull the clips out, I sometimes get a lot of resistance and I have to push it out with a little more force than necessary. I have a feeling the tolerances aren't quite perfect. So sometimes when I try to push it out the angle is wrong and there is friction. does not lead to other products. The shiny carbon fiber scratches ridiculously easily. No stainless steel part, but yes, shiny carbon fiber. When I let the light bounce off the product I see so many scratches on the gloss. I feel like a matte black carbon fiber version would be better in this regard as it doesn't show imperfections as easily as glossy. Now I can't fault this product as it's normal wear and tear but man for someone who wears it for a few days it really does feel like my money clip has been worn for a year or so. I don't even carry it in my bag with anything else; it's in your pocket by itself. However, I have so many micro-scratches I don't know where they're coming from! The shiny carbon fiber still looks good though, so I don't want to hit too hard here. Overall the M-Clip carbon fiber money clip looks GREAT but due to the poor quality tolerances and the fit and finish at a great price I definitely have to say that there are some improvements that need to be made!
