This works great with my Singer Heavy Duty 4432. I just have to remove the foot then the shaft and attach it like any other darning foot. I've played with it on several copies and have absolutely no complaints. As long as it's the style you're looking for (closed eye, not c-foot) this should work just fine. All darning feet are basically attached in the same way. So if you are using them for the first time, just look them up online. and you can find many tutorial videos. It feels durable and I expect it to last for years, but it updates when it lets me down.
