I bought Braavat Jet and a reusable cleaning cloth together as I want to reduce the amount of disposable items we use around the house. I'm happy to report that I really like these pads. I know others have other complaints, but these can be easily resolved, but I would like the manufacturer to educate customers better. Complaint: Seal sewn in -> difficult to clean. This is actually a good thing as the pad is more durable and won't fall out during cleaning. I will turn to the cleaning part of next2. Complaint: The pad is difficult to clean (since it is sewn in). I have developed a practical "hands free" hand washing system: after use, first rinse quickly under running water to get rid of a lot of dirt that got into the pad. Then place the pad in the sink and squirt some dish soap (it won't take much, just as a dime size would be more than enough) and scrub with one of those plastic Ikea potty brushes (or your bath brush). ). Brush outward in one direction (not back and forth) and you will see a LOT of grey/dirty suds coming off the pad. After you've done a thorough cleaning, you can rinse and inspect the pad. Repeat if necessary. I rarely have to repeat unless I'm thinking of vacuuming the floor first (see my next point)3. Complaint: The pillow is not cleaned well. This is where you need to rub/wipe 101 a bit - you need to vacuum the area first to remove most of the dirt/dirt. Wet cleaning should be the last cleaning step, not an all-in-one cleaning. If you have a robot vacuum, it is very useful when the vacuum and the Braavat Jet work together: first the vacuum and then the mop. This way not much dirt gets stuck in the microfiber of the pad and isn't carried around when mopping, making the floor dirtier. If the floor isn't too dirty, I just put 1 tablespoon of vinegar in the water tank and fill up the rest with plain water. If the floor has no debris but is just DIRTY, I would add 1 tablespoon vinegar and 2-5 tablespoons rubbing alcohol followed by water. Alcohol can dissolve things that water can't easily dissolve, and that usually helps a lot when cleaning floors. I hope that was helpful.
