Probably best for narrow bottles, not narrow diameter bottles, but wider bottles in general. Suitable for narrow ends of hummingbird feeders. The problem I had with old bottle brushes was that the end of the bristles didn't fit into the narrow opening of the bottle - too wide - or it was too hard to get to the inside of the bottle for cleaning (only cleaned the bottom) . The wire on them is so thin that any pressure will loosen the bristles, making cleaning the inside of these bottles just as difficult. Cleans the bottom half of the bottles but cannot be tilted to clean the top half or just under the neck of the bottle. The wire doesn't hold a good angle to get right under the mouth of the bottle as the minimal pressure pushes the wire into a new shape. not very helpful for cleaning the inside of bottles. Uh-huh - is there something in between? Small enough to fit in a hole and tough enough to clean inside? still searching Pin 1 broke in the first 2 weeks (only used 3 times) - guess what pressure I was trying to use to tip the damn wire to clear the bottle. It's easier with the second brush, but again, it's impossible to clean half the bottle near the neck.
