Update: The seller contacted me thinking I received a defective charger. They sent me a new set very quickly. The problem is completely solved. Once charged, the scrubber even behaved differently and was easier to use. I suspect it was never fully charged and I was expecting too much. Now that everything is fixed, it is easier to use and quick to charge. Thanks! Now any suggestions on how to get my son to "enjoy" the bathroom? There was hope for this little scrubber, but so far I'm not overly impressed. I charged it overnight without unpacking the attachments. Yes, the little light on the charger was red, showing it was charging. I went to try - completely dead. A second time tried to charge. There was a horrible time when the charger didn't even light up. No light, no charging. It eventually caught fire and told the whole family DON'T TOUCH! and fingers crossed the cats didn't touch him. The next morning the traffic light turned green, but that was about 14-16 hours later. So how long does it take to charge? No idea. It was enough to tidy up the shower/bath area. All this time it was difficult to keep him under control. I felt like I was in a cartoon where the crusher is racing through the house, dragging a man behind it. He kept jumping and really had to apply pressure to keep him under control. I ordered it hoping it would help my son with cleaning but I won't even let him try. This will only cause more problems. Maybe I'll make better use of it with more use. As for cleaning, it mostly depends on what kind of cleaner you use and how hard you press to keep contact with the surface. Whether I would recommend it or not is yet to be seen.
