The product has serious design flaws that do not allow cutting vegetables into leaves, which is the direct purpose of the product. Rather than attaching veggies to multiple prongs like most vegetable cutters do, this knife is designed to attach veggies to a single plastic drill that digs fairly deep into one end of the veg. This drill will stretch soft foods like cucumbers and zucchini to the point where the veggies will tear apart. Once the end of the veg is destroyed, the plastic drill simply twists in it and doesn't twist the veg to cut it. The only vegetable the carver worked on was the common potato. I tried slicing the sweet potato but the sweet potato was too tough. Again, the plastic drill intended to drill the veggies simply cracked the potato and twisted it inside. While the cutter is well made and easy to clean, it just didn't cut the veggies into sheets.
