Some things to watch out for. 1) Your truck MUST have 12V on the 7 pin connector. On most new trucks, on some older trucks, you only need to add one fuse. 2) You can use it as it comes in the package if you have 12V power on the 7-pin connector on the truck side, but you need to power the engine harness, use it. , then disconnect and reconnect the trailer wiring harness. This is a very SILLY design. I have to disassemble part of the connector and connect the connector as my other was where it connected to the battery. Whether it really works I can't say yet, if it's worth flipping, but we'll see.
