It works, but I'm concerned that the first USB 2.0 port I plugged it into hasn't worked since the first time I tried it. So this was the port I use all the time to connect USB 2.0 drives or when I need to plug in a device and extract some information from it. When I first plugged this device into the same port, the power light on the device turned on and then went off. I couldn't get Windows to read the XD card inside. I got fed up with some other flash drives and they stopped showing up when plugged into this port. I'm worried that the device caused a spike on the port and is now causing a problem with it. I plugged this into a USB 3.0 port and it worked (yes, I'm a fan of abuse, so try again in a different port). So will I risk using this device again? Maybe I'm a lover of abuse, but unless another port dies I can't tell if it's entirely the fault of the device itself. If I had to buy one or suggest one, I would look elsewhere at this point. If I lose another port somewhere else I will reset the stars and update this review. My loss is your gain!
