First the cons: I borrowed my kid's Logitech webcam which cost four times what I paid for them. Is his camera four times better? Maybe it depends on how much you value the image quality in Zoom. When using Zoom's virtual backgrounds, Logitech had no problem getting me out of the background clutter, this one isn't that good. It cuts off my ears and there is a halo around the edges where you can see the true background. Also, you may find that the megapixel count is low when you see your image on a big screen. Even the built-in camera in my Lenovo P51 laptop is better. Now for the positives: it was very easy to install, didn't require any additional software to get the most out of it like Logitech does, and it comes with a decent protective case. It just works and is easy and the swivel mount is very handy. Most cameras I've seen that sell well don't have a pivoting base like this, and that was a major factor for me. Since I'm using a full-size, multi-monitor setup, I now keep the lid on my laptop closed. Verdict: For 1/4 the price of high-end devices, this gets the job done.
