Blades don't fit tightly

As a revelation I would like to say that I bought this knife from a local store, not Revain, but it is the same piece of equipment. I thought the idea was great: a vegetable peeler with interchangeable blades seemed like a brilliant innovation to me. I still think it's a great idea, but this design just isn't functional. My first attempt was to peel carrots. It wasn't difficult and it worked, but I quickly realized that the only reason it's effective is because the carrot skin is very thin and offers very little resistance. The problem quickly became apparent when I decided to peel the brown husk from the coconut flesh. The moment the blade entered the skin, it jumped out of the handles and flew across the kitchen table. I reconnected and tried a second time and the result was exactly the same. After four tries, I resorted to holding the blade between my fingers and peeling the fruit without fiddling with the handle. As you can imagine, it was more efficient but less ergonomic. I was about to get a carpal tunnel. I then tried, as the other reviewer seems to have done, to peel the eggplant. The blade bit and partially detached the pulp, but then popped out before I could completely remove the strip, and in some places it just wasn't sharp enough to cut the skin. In one case the pulp seemed too soft and in the other too hard, but in any case the peeler did not do its job. The main reason I use a vegetable peeler and not a knife is this. for peeling hard-skinned fruit like a pumpkin, or on the rare occasion I need to peel a large batch of something I would otherwise use a knife for. I want the peeling to work, so in short I don't have cramps in my arms. It's not this tool. Everything I've mentioned will put up too much resistance, more than this peeler can handle. I'm convinced that it's not the blades that matter, it's the design of the tool itself. The blades just can't be attached to the handle securely enough to stay in place.
