This was one of the best cases I have ever used when it comes to drop protection. A drop left a small tear in the hard rubber corner bumper, but it's barely noticeable and saved my phone from scratches. After about a year, the sides where the hard rubber sloped in against the clear plastic came loose, but the case still holds my phone securely. really weird drumstick accident. I accidentally sent a stick to my phone while it was face down on the floor during a workout, which somehow sent a punch through the body and the back of the phone (with no damage) to the screen where it appeared to be a bullet would have hit my phone. I can't explain it, but I really don't think it's the case. The case looks amazing, I really like how the pattern makes the gold of my phone look 3 dimensional and I get compliments on it a lot. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that the pages are peeling which is a little annoying.
