Excellent quality. Gold plated contacts. Aluminum casing. Worked great!

Purchased to add dual screen to my iMac. This Mini DisplayPort (DP or Thunderbolt) adapter plugs directly into the Thunderbolt port on the back of my iMac, and the female part of the HDMI adapter connects to my second monitor using a standard HDMI cable. On my iMac it only took a few keystrokes: System Preferences &gt; Displays &gt; Layout (decide which side each display should be on by dragging the display to one side or the other) and disabling Mirrored Displays and Dual Screens worked like a spell!
