Review on Portable acoustics JBL Charge 4, 30 W, red by Anastazja Gbka ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A good balance of price/quality, recommend it.

I got it almost for free, for bonuses and discounts, it took half a year, and I gave it to a friend, because I want something better and more suitable for me, without a stereo it's really sad. The column proved to be very average and ordinary, except for the bass I can’t single out anything. I already ordered a SONY SRS-XB31, bribed with its backlight, as it often stands on the table under the monitor, and the fact that it is stereo, otherwise it is exactly the same. Maybe she won't fit me at all.

Pros
  • - Bass bombing in my opinion, but my friends said that it was better on the Charge 3, but I did not notice this myself. - Sound, it's at an acceptable level, but nothing outstanding. - IPx7, a really useful feature, went to the beach more than once, or went to the shower, she doesn't care. - The battery and USB-C hold up fine, but as the Charge 3 experience has shown, it loses capacity quickly, maybe in this model something was decided with this, but Type-C, just a nice bonus, I hate MicroUSB.
Cons
  • It got bigger, not much, but in some moments where a troika could climb, a quartet flies in and sticks out with one membrane. It didn’t become a single decibel louder, I didn’t hear 30W here at all, tests show the same thing. AND THE MOST IMPORTANT AND HORRIBLE, when I already ordered it, I found out that it gives a damn mono sound, maybe someone will not care, but when I play from this speaker in the same APEX without turning away from the sound source, I lose sound altogether. Yes, and the sound of ordinary songs also suffered because of this.
