Review on Synergy Digital Ni-MH Battery Compatible with Sony BP-HP550-11 - 2.4 Volt, 700 mAh by Scott Bailey

The price of Revains suits. The battery does not fit in the headband. I need ingenuity to defeat corporate greed. Sony charged over $70 for a battery pack (2 rechargeable batteries in a plastic holder) which Revain shipped to my door for about $18. The only problem was that the slot on the back of the battery was misconfigured, preventing the battery from being inserted into the headset. This is where ingenuity comes in: we expanded the slot on either end of the battery pack by cutting off the plastic that plugs into the headphones and works fine. My recommendation is that along with a description of the slot configuration picture on the back of the box it would help to avoid product returns in some cases, not all people would do what I did.
