I have tried a few cheaper filter jugs and was not happy with the products. As expected, the cheaper pitchers were cheaper and I didn't notice any difference in the taste of the water after filtering. Then I ordered a jug made of polyurethane. It arrived in perfect condition. Well done. I can definitely feel the difference between filtered water and tap water. I recommend and will recommend this jug filter to my friends. I love that there is a status LED on the lid to remind me when to buy a new filter and when to replace the filter. I use this daily. I've also noticed that my coffee pot no longer has that white crust that I got from unfiltered water. I suspect the tap water at my house isn't as clean as the city claims it is. (I already knew that. That's why I wanted a good filter jug). Buy this jug if you are looking for a quality filter jug. I don't think you will be disappointed.
