Update 4.22.18-The shop I took my truck to to have it installed had a blast installing it! I apparently had more than a few broken screws. My advice to other Ram 1500 owners is to replace the bolts as soon as possible. I've read that others have had similar installation issues because of how the engine is configured in the engine bay and how close other components are. I'm definitely glad I decided to entrust this work to someone else instead of me. I'm looking forward to driving the truck and seeing how it works. I bought these for my 2013 Ram 1500 Laramie 5.7. My mechanic will install them next Monday. I ordered a set without the ceramic coating but upon receipt I checked the mating surfaces for straightness and they were deformed. Returned them and got these instead after reading on the RAM forums that they work best with plating. I was thinking about packaging at the time but it's a process and costs less just more work that I can't do now. I'll update as soon as they're installed and I've had them for a long time. I also have tier 8 bolts so hopefully this will solve the chronic bolt locking issue on these trucks.
