For those of you who like me want to connect 2 external monitors to your new Macbook Pro 2017 > with 2 USB-C adapters, problem solved. I racked my brains and watched countless YouTube videos and websites on how to add additional external monitors. ## First, I bought a (name unspecified) Best Buy docking station with all the bells and whistles. . It only mirrored my 2 external monitors. yes mirror Why the hell do I need an extra mirror of another monitor now? I first bought this adapter and plugged the USB-C connector into a USB-C to HDMI dock. The bottom line is that HDMI is not recognized. It dawned on me why I shouldn't try plugging the USB-c directly into one of the Macbook 2's USB-c ports. To my surprise, the external monitor worked! :). If you want to connect power to your Mac, there's an extra slot for that. However, note that for those who want to add 2 external monitors to their Macbook Pro, the power supply must be connected. An adapter doesn't seem to have enough power to detect the monitor's source. I sincerely hope this helps anyone who wants 2 external displays on their Macbook Pro 2017. Good product. Sincerely, Alfred S.
