My 7 year old son asked for them in black after wearing brown for a few months. When a little boy asks for dress shoes, you know you've found the perfect pair of shoes. We bought the 13.5W in both colors and the fit is moderately wide. Is this genuine leather. Shoe polish stains toes that are a bit worn after a few walks. Quality hook and loop fasteners are a good choice and superior to laces. I would definitely buy these shoes again.
