Review on Original Beater Blade Universal PC 5L by Zachary Greene

I bought a refurbished 5 liter Kitchenaid Artisan blender. When I saw that it came with a sign I wanted to buy it but I came across some not so good reviews on this sign. Since I found it difficult to put on and take off and the spout was too small to add ingredients, I decided to try something different. I came across this versatile umbrella while looking for the best shield and bought it based on the positive reviews. The Shield did what I needed, but I gave it four stars because I almost made some messy attempts to get flour and oatmeal into my blender. I made cookies. If I hadn't been careful, the wide spout from which I poured the ingredients would have spilled everywhere because the ingredients poured out quickly! Next time I make something that requires me to pour ingredients, I'll put them in my measuring cup. It's easier and cleaner to pour. I've also tried this slide on several bowls with different rims. I have a couple of plastic mixing bowls from my local dollar tree that work, but the chute is so heavy I'd have to hold the bowl with one hand and try to pour the ingredients in with the other. Not to mention accidentally hit the chute causing it to fall out of the mixing bowl and chipping a small patch of paint off my stove! That thing is so heavy! This also worked on my T-Fal pan. However, this didn't work with the stainless steel bowls I bought from Revain. The rim was pretty much the same as my plastic mixing bowls, but for some weird reason this slide just didn't work. All in all, using my refurbished blender to pour ingredients into the bowl took me a great deal of time while blending. I'm glad I bought them both because mixing cookie dough by hand is like trying to mix concrete with a plastic spoon and I don't have the arm strength to do it.
