Works well. Good fit and feel in hand. Programming is straightforward. Most keys are easily visible in the dark when using the backlight; The exceptions are the power supply, the four colored buttons below, and the backlight button itself. Works at least 30 feet away with line of sight. I only use it with the built in amp and CD player so I didn't use many of the features. The punch didn't work for me. Most likely because my amp wasn't listed and I had to learn each function individually. If I assigned an audio mode to a fake brand and then learned the buttons, maybe it would work as advertised. I'm buying a second one to have ready as a backup. The instructions are well written, but the eye test is for old eyes. Update 02/02/2019: System cleaned up and tried with learning functions after setting any audio device value. After "learning" the volume/mute button, the punch does not work. I simply "learned" these functions on the DVD and got the results I wanted.
