Review on πŸ”Š Immersive Audio Experience: LG SN11R Black Sound Bar by Amar Amar ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product for me, I was satisfied with the price.

Regular music via BT or Google Cast is mediocre. However, if you use Tidal (or Apple Music) and tracks crafted in Dolby Atmos, then suddenly this soundbar becomes quite a great device for music. Who has not tried - I recommend. To do this, you need a VPN and an Android TV set-top box, Nvidia Shield would be ideal. Although you still won’t get the perfect clean vocals in any way. The upper channel. It exists, but it is very conditional. With stretch ceilings, it also weakens. I will not write this down as a disadvantage, because this is not a separate system, and this is normal for a home.

Pros
  • Calm design, especially with LG TVs. Excellent movie sound with Dolby Atmos - you feel the volume, all voices are clear, loud, bassist. One of the best soundbars to watch at home.
Cons
  • Logs with google custom. Very often Spotify and other applications fall off. Sometimes the sound just disappears, completely or from the rear speakers, and you have to re-plug it from the outlet. For a flagship soundbar, this is simply unacceptable. But this is LG, they have absolutely no accompaniment. For all the time only 1 firmware ate has been released. There was a soundbar of the previous generation - the same. Further - the sound is perfect with Atmos. If, for example, there is another track - for example, the film Argument with DTS-HD, then there are wild volume drops, and the music muffled the voice. It is worth noting that such films are very rare. There is no HDMI 2.1, but this is not critical for me, all the sound comes from the TV through eARC. For some reason there is no ecosystem. There is an LG TV, there is an LG soundbar. Yes, I can control the volume, but it's normal HDMI-SEC. I have 2 different remotes, when it could have been 1. I can't change the sound mode through the TV, I can't see the exact volume through the TV, I can't set the night mode, etc. Unclear.
