I used these to replace the worm gear belts. This is superior to worm gear bands as it is constantly self-adjusting to maintain pressure around the hose as it degrades and loses its original diameter. It's a bit of a hassle to work with, but once installed you know it's there and won't lose power if there is a leak. Check the OD of the hose to be clamped and make sure it is larger than the lower ID of this clamp but does not exceed the maximum OD. I used them on the Land Rover Discovery II cooling system. Hoses 32mm.
