I bought band 4 after 2.5 years of wearing mi band 2. I just wanted to upgrade. Let's start with the positives - compared to the previous model, the screen is better, larger, more functional, there is a brightness control depending on the time of day, the accuracy of characteristics and measurements is similar to mi band 2, there are a lot of jambs in steps, pulse and sleep, so the bracelet is not for sports, but rather informational, approximately the level of load shows, but not for training. I use the bracelet exclusively as an addition to the phone, you can’t use sound signals at work, so all notifications and calls are through the vibration of the bracelet on my arm. Convenient function to reject or ignore the call. This was missing from my old one. The water resistance of both models is at the level of immortality, only without diving, of course. For me, there are three very significant disadvantages: it is impossible to remove the screen of unnecessary AliPay. I have to shoot in the shower, because the water constantly turns on the music on the phone, but I don’t notice it, mi 2 wins in this, I didn’t notice it at all and never took off how the body part was. And the main disadvantage is the vibration during discharge. For band 2, the charge was enough for 21-24 days, it started to vibrate by 15%, but it was exactly two buzzes per dent, in the morning and in the evening, you can wear it until the discharge to zero for a few more days without discomfort. Band 4 is just awful! It lasts for 15-16 days, but it starts swearing at 16% and does it non-stop, it buzzes every three minutes, day and night, and with this endless vibration it discharges the battery at triple speed! It's just unbearable! It is not always possible to put it on charge right now and I know very well that the battery will last a couple more days, but it buzzes and infuriates a million times a day, constantly distracts from work and I can’t take it off so as not to miss the phone call.
