Review on 🧼 18-Inch Unger Professional Replacement Rubber Squeegee Blade - Customizable Size by Liam Roth

I am surprised by all the good reviews on this product. There must be something special about Unger an Etorre's wipers that people say have put to wonderful use. It's absolutely horrible in my beautiful Baban Brushed Nickel Shower Scrubber. It makes the most horrible squeak when you try to wipe it off and leaves most of the water in large streaks. I suspect this is mainly due to the fact that it is a harder rubber and not cut to a tapered tip. It's just a square cut. The original blade in mine was softer and tapered so it glided effortlessly. I don't understand how this one could ever slide on glass. The dimensions also indicate the blade is 1 inch deep, which is incorrect. It's closer to 3/4 inch. It barely sticks out 1/8 inch from the end of my mop blade frame.
