Like most, I'm just tech savvy. No network pro, but confident enough to set up a home network. This router works perfectly as an access point to my home network. Both bands now have a strong Wi-Fi signal throughout my house, plus the added benefit of a wired switch for local wired connections. It currently supports 1 Roku Ultra, 2 phones and 1 tablet over Wi-Fi, as well as 1 Roku Ultra, 1 TV and 1 laptop. I haven't experienced any dropouts and occasional buffering of 4K content. If you need to upgrade your main router, you should consider better or busier routers. If you need to expand your existing home network or expand your current connection, this is a good option. It's a little pricey, but not by much at all, and I've had very good service from my other Linksys devices. That was my win.
