these steps are perfect for us. Easy to wear, open and close. Sturdy and strong. Perfect length growth. We have 3 dogs, they all settle in quickly if we train both sides. First in the house, up the steps to the table, and then on the street at night in a jeep. After two trips into the woods they are still a bit nervous/impatient but I am sure they will adapt. We live on the same floor so they don't have much experience with stairs. 10 year old Shepherd, 85 pounds and slowing. 6 year old Red Heeler, 60 lbs with back/hip problems 1 year old Chihuahua Beagle. She can jump right in, but we don't want her jumping off, so we'll use stairs to get in and out.
