I took it out of the box, charged it with fresh AA batteries and installed the slide. Nothing has happened. I disassembled it to make sure I assembled it correctly. I had. I put the batteries in a voltage tester to make sure they weren't the problem. They weren't. While it was being disassembled I looked at the electrical wires and traces to see if I could spot the problem. I could not. The instructions were completely useless - which is logical considering the simplicity of the device. I thought about the hassle of returning it to get a new one. I thought twice about it. Then he threw it in the trash. Wasn't worth the trouble.
