This adapter works well and looks great on the wall. The terminals are firm for a secure connection, and I love that the shape matches the various "power adapters" that come with some items. Two things to note. Firstly, it just plugs into the top half of your outlet, there is a plastic dowel pin on the bottom of the adapter that fits into a hole in the bottom of the bottom half. This means it gets all of its power from the top half, but since both halves of the vessel are connected it doesn't matter. The problem occurs when you use it in an outlet that is half controlled by a switch. When the top half is controlled by a switch, this turns the adapter and everything connected to it on and off. If the bottom half is controlled by a switch, there shouldn't be a problem. Second, if you have a "decor" style square socket (like ours) you will not be able to use the center screw in the mounting adapter. into the socket, it is simply held by the clamps. So when you unplug something, you need to hold the adapter to keep it from falling out of the socket. For our use, anything plugged into it pretty much stays plugged in, so it's not an issue for us, but keep that in mind if you're plugging and unplugging a lot. All in all, this adapter works well for our purpose and I would recommend it.
