Not sure what I was expecting but this is not what I was expecting. The pieces just slide in, they don't snap into place. So if you were planning on moving this thing, don't try to carry it from the top or the side, it will just fall apart. Also, the console and control box just kind of sit on extendable shelves, there's no way to secure them. I envisioned using my PSVR without being tethered to a TV, lugging it around with all the accessories and setting it up where I wanted to use it. Do not use for this purpose. I think if you keep it somewhere static and never move it, it's fine for that. I just attach the Velcro control box to the top of my PS4 and set it up just like that. I removed the top of it and intend to use it to charge my motion controllers and PS4 so it's not a total loss.
