Nice drive bay but there are some issues.

I like the top loading feature of this drive bay and its basic square design. Invisible in the work area. Although I would like the top part to fix and hold the slices well. It can't be moved too much and never tilted to one side, especially when there are live discs inside. The SATA connectors appear to be too close to the inner wall of the bay and some of them were actually misaligned on the device I received. I took a screwdriver to put them in place. But they stayed as fast as I did. You probably shouldn't do that. Discs also tip forward when you load them. design flaw? Ideally, they stand straight and not at an angle. And certainly not near plastic. The chassis is probably good at absorbing vibrations from the floor, but not when the drives are in direct contact with the walls of the bay, which are not padded. But no real problems so far. I would like to add that when cloning drives or copying files from one drive to another, you are not using any of those cheaper drive bays when both drives are in the drive bay. They are ideal for transferring files from a computer to spare drives in a drive bay for direct wired connection or network storage. In my case they are connected to a microcomputer that manages scheduled backups when I turn them on once a week. But whenever I use one of those cheaper bays to clone drives or copy from one attached drive to another, the firmware will eventually corrupt or even damage your drive. Basically, it's like playing Russian roulette with your discs. I don't know why it happens or what causes it, but it's always preceded by some bizarre behavior that pops up on the computer just before it happens. There must be a cheap chip architecture common to these sub-$200 models. I've taken a few of the more expensive ones from time to time and never had this problem with them.
