I am a woman and when I purchase kitchen gloves my hands tend to be between small and medium. The small one will be a tough fight and the middle one a bit loose. I ordered a small size. Fit, but wobble a bit. For women, I recommend ordering gloves the same size as your kitchen gloves or one size smaller. They are a little thicker than the ones I bought from Bed Bath & Beyond. They appear to be well made and will last a long time. Also included is a glove liner. There is also a button on the wrist to secure the glove. A glove will protect you from being cut by blades, but will not protect you from being stabbed by a sharp object like the tip of a spear.
