This harness has made teaching our daughter to ski much easier,m. She’s very cautious and has really appreciated knowing we’re right behind her for speed control. AND- in case this isn’t something that is known to you- I would highly suggest removing it each and every time you get on a chairlift. The straps are very long, and there are two of them (some brands have just one strap). We had a terrifying incident when one of the straps got wrapped around the back of the lift while the backpack was double-strapped to her back. The liftee was able to stop us on time before anything horrific happened, but let’s just say I understand why many people advise against products like these.
