Solid Value Wired/Wireless Keyboard for Couch Gaming

I bought this compact wired/wireless keyboard with brown switches even though I already own a Corsair K68 full wired keyboard with cherry red switches. I wanted to: 1. see how I liked the tactile and linear switches2. Play effortlessly from the couch or my hybrid desk/workstation3. Improve ergonomics and give me more room for my mouse while gaming. Having a fairly new wired gaming board, I couldn't justify spending a lot of money on a wireless keyboard, but I wanted something more comfortable than an ultra-slim membrane keyboard. First off, this is a review of the keyboard paired with my Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 on Windows 10. Key Features: Keyboard's compact size leaves plenty of room for mouse while retaining arrow keys, easy-to-use wired or wireless connection, nice tactile feel, amazingly good feel - Fur: I wish the navigation keys were a bit separated, either physical or with caps in different colors/textures. Not a fan of a wired mouse with a wireless keyboard. - My thoughts after 1 week: Form factor: - LOVE the compact size and the fact that it's actually a 65% keyboard with Arrows, Delete, Page Up, Page Down keys which is more versatile. than the real board 60% - I wish there was a second Fn key on the left, but that's because I'm used to my laptop keyboard - I'm missing a dedicated function bar above the number keys, but that's standard on compact keyboards. The 65-75% boards I've seen are narrow but have Fn Row, they're all more expensive or not wireless so the value here is worth it. - Easy to use wired and wireless. For Bluetooth, the manual is easy to follow, and labeled QWERT keys make it easy to remember how to switch when inevitably throwing the packaging away. Build Quality: - Keycaps: I didn't stress test them, but they seem sturdy. The keycaps actually stay in place better than on my Corsair K68. The plastic frame does not flex in use. A small kickback with the spacebar, but not a big one, doesn't stop me from playing. Aesthetics - The RGB lighting is fun and appealing. I don't use it wirelessly because I don't think it's worth the battery trade-off. Not as flashy as my Corsair with black translucent keycaps, but more than enough to see in low light. (And enough my girlfriend teasing me while I was unpacking in the living room). No software, but figuring out how to control preset lighting options is easy. โ€” I like that it's white, which I enjoy more than black boards. My desk is powder coated white and my laptop is a white Asus ROG Zephyrus so it blends in nicely. - The font is not saved in any direction. - The Fn labels are useful for this compact board and the combos for changing the lighting etc seem intuitive. after several hours of use.
