Review on 🌳 Woodlandia 4-Pack Basswood Disks: Versatile Wood Plates for Weddings, Events, Parties, & Crafts (10x1 Inches) by Sasha Hsiao

These discs are of fairly good quality and as the manufacturer has warned they were quite dirty and some had cracks sealed with glue mixed with sawdust. My discs were 9 to 10 inches in diameter and 1-1/8 to 1-1/4 inches thick. I bought these to cut in half and make small "floating" shelves. I scrubbed the flat surfaces with a steel bristle brush, then used a random orbital sander with coarse sandpaper to clean the flat surfaces (I really recommend it!), then used a circular saw to halve the slices (to avoid spoiling the slices) . to avoid falling to the ground). I carved channels into the wall for the screw heads. I then covered the wood with polyurethane (making sure the bark was soaked) to slide and used two keyhole hangers for each shelf. See attached picture for the last shelf. All in all I thought these wooden discs were a bit pricey for what you get (but they are all no matter where you get them I see) but the quality was pretty good and the shelves look great in a child's room!
