Well although I have since found a product much cheaper than this. I can say without a doubt that this product worked brilliantly for what I needed. At first I wasn't even sure if I could carve it with my silhouette. but it worked great. Since the sheets are 12 x 24, I was able to trim the pieces (very, very neatly) down to 8 x 12. I don't usually suggest this as the wheels are 8 inches apart in the original silhouette portrait and if the vinyl moves at all then it will succumb and eventually destroy the project (trust me I've done this several times). So I trimmed them down to 8 inches and cut out giant letters for the banner. I should probably say what color this BLAH is when you first open it. It doesn't look very shiny and I actually found it a bit ugly. However, when I put it on the cardboard I was using, it actually looked pretty good. The absolute BEST part, however, was that I glued it to cardboard and screwed it up. I was able to take it off very carefully and adjust it better. It was probably a combination of cardboard and vinyl, but I screwed up A LOT (it was my first banner ever) and was always able to fix it. I don't know if other products will be the same but I was very happy with the result of my project. I got a lot of compliments and people had a really hard time believing that I made my banner because it looked "professional". My only complaint was the higher price, but it's my fault for rushing to buy before looking for other things. I'm glad I got it though, and while I'll end up buying a cheaper product for my next project, I'll keep that in mind in case other things don't work out.
