Review on Kingston A400 120GB SATA SSD SA400S37/120G by Adam Worek ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A nice option for the money, one of the best deals.

There are no fasteners in the kit, but on the other hand, for such a price, not that I expected them. Otherwise, it's a good SSD, which has all the main features of solid-state drives: it doesn't make noise, it's light, small, and fast. Many doubt the state employees of Kingston, they say the controller is bad and the resource is not very good, but I have no problems. The computer has two of these: one for the system, the second for After Effects. Cold start the computer in 9 seconds (before loading the desktop), and AE is ultra-fast. For half a year the disks are clean and there are no problems. I noticed that there is no way to normally check the integrity of disk blocks due to the lack of a full-fledged SMART. For such a price - the fire of the SSD.

Pros
  • Very low price, good resource and more or less honest speed
Cons
  • There is nothing specifically bad.

Got pros: Inexpensive. Good firm. Cons below: There are no obvious ones. And not obvious ones either.
