Review on Privacy Sliding Solid Brass Pocket by Paul Giordano

I have ordered pocket door locks from several manufacturers hoping to get a good one. All of these cheap pocket door locks are basically the same crappy design like they are all made in the same factory. differences in detail. It seems that this lock is made of very cheap metal. Worse, it appeared as if no clear coat had been applied to it, so the metal surface has a rough feel and you can literally feel the ridges where they've brushed everything they do to achieve a "brushed nickel" look. The gullwing door puller had very hard edges and some surface imperfections. I have returned this item.
