Travel rescue potential

PREVIEW: I have a trip planned for next month and will update this review once I see the progress. At this point, these are my first thoughts on the product. mm), Sony 20 f1.8 (67mm), Sony 16-35 f4 (72mm) and Sigma 24-70 f2.8 (82mm). I'll start with the simplest ones like Sony Prime and Tamron. The S-size lens hood fitted both lenses and didn't affect their function, although it took a few tries to install. I can well imagine leaving the original lens hoods at home when packing the lights. Sony Zoom was next. Both the S and M fit, although the M was easier to put on (still tried a few times with both and was definitely an issue with the S). I'd probably prefer to use M, but I've encountered two issues: First, vignetting at the widest angle (and when the hood is folded, that doesn't help). The second problem is the malfunction of the zoom mechanism. Here I was able to compare both sizes and see which one best solves these problems. The Sigma zoom was a problem. Putting the hood on was not easy and on the third try it tore. That's where KUVRD's exceptional customer service comes in. A quick email to them and I received an apology from Cary (the owner of the company) and an assurance that I would have a replacement within a week. Received a replacement today but my next attempt to put the Sigma on was still a problem. I think it might not be designed for this lens, but I'll keep researching the best way to mount it. Taking off a star because I found them really not that easy to put on. I'll probably have to practice turning it on and off because it looks a lot easier on the CUVRD video than I experienced it myself. Overall the idea is great and if it works as advertised my travel kit will be a lot more compact. definitely his product.
