This thick mat (36x60) is perfect for the back of my car. It's much larger so it covers the entire bottom and folds over some of the sides which protects my car when I load it with groceries, dirty stuff, etc. I bought another one to use as an exercise mat in the garden post COVID. . It can handle heavy weights, throw sandbags, etc., just needed a small area big enough to keep my gym equipment from getting dirty. I am very happy with this rug. I probably shouldn't do this, but I do machine wash. It holds up great and the underside of the cushion doesn't fall apart, unlike some other cheap rugs I've bought from Pep Boys where the supposedly "waterproof" underside peels right away.
