UPDATED: After several major firmware updates the system seems to have settled down and is working as expected. It's hard to compare this to my previous Netgear SK50 (consumer) system as it no longer works, but this Wi-Fi 6 Pro system seems more stable and reliable. The Insight app helps manage the system, but it should be free, at least for small businesses. I also wish the browser interactions with the system weren't disconnected so damn quickly. PREVIOUS REVIEW: I have a previous Netgear Orbi (SK50) system (upgraded) that is only a few years old. The 3 satellite SK50 was my first mesh network system and it did not disappoint. First and foremost I needed the daisy chaining feature to extend to my property and it delivered. I bought this Pro 6 (SK80) upgrade for supposedly faster speeds and more coverage. With two satellites placed EXACTLY where the previous system's two satellites were placed, I degraded the coverage with the same devices connected. In addition, the system seems more unstable, with sudden drops in signal from devices that are literally steps away from the router. The firmware has been updated (as of this date). Calls to NETGEAR support result in two and sometimes three (admittedly apologetic) support reps after waiting up to an hour as the first (and possibly second) reps are unaware of the new Pro 6 system, finally after the wait to a "knowledgeable" employee, I hang up in desperation. If the system wasn't so expensive I could wait and hope that firmware updates result in better performance. I don't know if I want to stick with it with a short seller return window, so unless things improve drastically soon I'll be back.
