The idea was good, the strap turned backwards acts as a compression strap and automatically reduces the volume of the backpack. The size looked about right so I ordered it. Hard cases may be a better match for this backpack, but the Oakley cases I have are too big to fit; Otherwise they would create unsightly bulges that would ruin the streamlined appearance of the pack. In product and review videos, the looped back straps looked fine, but during use the strap dangled sideways - it was held in place by a D-ring at the front of the pack, but the pack dangled uncomfortably. When I moved, the backpack sometimes flapped horizontally. I think another pair of D-rings on the back of the pack for attaching the strap would improve the concept of the strap. I have returned this item.
