This is a good square if it suits your needs. It's well made and with that big hole in the center for your finger, it's nice to play around with when you're contemplating your next moves. It would be more convenient to carry in your pocket if it was 2/3 thicker - it's quite thick. Needless to say (but it didn't stop me from ordering without thinking twice) you obviously can't use it to measure the squareness of OUTSIDE corners other than by visual alignment. This may limit its usefulness to you.
