I saw a left mouse button rush recently. I tried anyway, hoping it would be good. nope Right out of the box, the left click was a 1 out of 3 suggestion. And I did some serious testing. Seems to be a very simple design to ensure that the 'click' you feel (tactile response) doesn't happen before the electronic switch is pressed. But somehow they screwed it up. I can click as usual, and it rarely registers, or press the button firmly for a sure click. But of course a mouse doesn't last a week, and that's not for a mouse. I pulled out a spreadsheet to experiment with and am wondering if it's mechanical? I tried clicking one by one, it was enough to click the button, and often the second or third click was performed. If I made the clicks longer (by holding the button down after the click) it had more success. The right click was 100% ok so I have no idea how they screwed up. Unfortunately I like the mouse. The touchpad is a great feature. This turns your one button into three functions. Here it is, the mouse Mecca. More functions without additional buttons. I've tried several thumb buttons and it's not possible to use more than one comfortably. Every design I tried just had extra buttons that I never used due to their placement. Also the latest version of Mouse and Keyboard Center software is good with more flexibility than in the past. The ergonomics felt a little flat for a large hand. But if it works I would use it and give it 4 stars maybe 5. I expect some mice to work for a while. No total loss, since you can return a bad one. And for the price. So I'm giving it 2 stars for the poor build quality. No 1 star because of design and supposed functionality.)
