> really good weight and balance although it may be a little light due to the plastic visible in the photos it is a beautifully constructed instrument > the lighting is even and consistent, no shading > size checking is very convenient for displaying marks> 3-level adjustable backlight is very convenient. Didn't think the brightness needed adjusting but helps when viewing glossy or flat printed stamps > Balance and side knobs allow you to slightly raise the scope (1/2 inch) and focus for zooming and viewing detail high level maintained, z stamp perforations I had a bit, it's harder to do it with a regular magnifying glass on the handle > the little Crown Royal bag is great for storage :)
