Initially I thought this product was great, materials seem good, overall functionality works as advertised. You place your phone (with a case) on the mat and it instantly picks up a signal and charges the phone. In my experience and my spouse's, when we both have iPhone X models, the phones are VERY WARM even after a short charge (<= 30 minutes). I would use this product for a day charge probably where I put it on and yet I had set the product to charge before bed and the phone got very hot/hot. I was concerned that the LED would be on while the phone was charging, making it unsuitable for bedroom use, but the LED would light up to confirm the charging connection was made. it then turns off to avoid a bright annoying LED.
