I live in Southern California and make hats for kids in Mexico. I don't calculate I always wash my hats in warm water. Anyway, I purchased the above and made part of the hat out of your yarn. I chose the hats I washed. The yellow thread has become one big piece; I had to throw my hat away. Yes, I should have taken a picture but I forgot. I won't use others. If the seller says the yarn is acrylic, then the yarn should be. The yarn contains NO ACRYLIC. If so, the hat would be with some young Mexican by now.
