Works well and easily connects to a hose if you need to remove water. The only problem I had is that when cleaning the gravel you have to be careful not to fill the pipe or get the gravel stuck. In addition, part of the fine gravel substrate can pass through the filter prepared in this way. When you take it apart to put it away, some gravel will fall out.
