We never had a problem with fleas on our dog until we adopted a kitten this year. It seems that since then, although she was a house cat and didn't have fleas, she suddenly got them. I had a course of medication for my dog that I prescribed hoping it would solve the problem. and it was made for a pooch. poor kitten. so i bought this collar for the durability and price and i am very happy with the results. without hair loss and side effects! Kitty is very thankful that she stays up all night and not itchy! My cat has never worn a collar so she licked her lips and was embarrassed trying to take it off and so far there have been no side effects or anything else I've noticed and I was concerned. It didn't work after reading other people's reviews of this product, but it worked for us!
